Is Bashard live on BNB Chain?
No. BNB Smart Chain mainnet setup is in progress. Contracts, indexer and nodes are not yet active.
Where can I buy BSHD?
Nowhere. No BSHD token is deployed. Anything presented as BSHD on a public chain is not from this project.
Are my files private?
No. Stored objects are public to anyone who knows the track id. Client-side encryption is not implemented.
How many nodes can fail before data is lost?
A track survives as long as any 7 of its 20 shards remain available.
Why does certification need two thirds?
Certification is a signing quorum ensuring most of the committee confirms custody. It is separate from the 7-of-20 recovery threshold.
Are files stored on chain?
No. Only merkle roots, sizes, ownership and payments are recorded on chain.
What does storage cost?
Cost is capacity times epochs times a protocol price. No production price exists yet.
Has it been audited?
No. An external audit is a prerequisite for mainnet.

Can I run a node today?
No. Contracts are not deployed and a public network for outside operators does not exist yet.
